It appears liberals weren’t joking when they called Trump “literally Hitler,” because they seem to think Fidel Castro would’ve been a better leader than the President-Elect. (scroll down for video)
New video has surfaced of liberal college students at American University sounding off on which leader they think is preferable.
“Uh….I mean…” mumbled one student while contemplating the question, “right now, I don’t think Donald Trump is very good, and I know Fidel Castro has done some good things for the world so…I’d say he’s proven himself at least in the long term to be more favorable in my opinion to Donald Trump.”
Numerous other students had high praise for Fidel, including one who said Castro was “a remarkable leader in many ways” who “made possibilities for the Cuban people nearly endless.”
Despite acknowledging the dictator’s repressive treatment of the Cuban people, one student said, “I would say, at this very moment, I have, um, a better opinion of Fidel Castro.”
Nearly every student interviewed struggled with the question, squirming and giggling while contemplating and often saying, “that’s a tough question.”
Nothing confirms the naivety of liberals than the contrast between their uneducated preference for Fidel Castro and the celebrations of Cuban exiles in Miami who partied over Fidel’s death for 3 days straight (and counting):
The fawning-fest over Castro’s “remarkable legacy” has been on full-display among liberals everywhere.
Black Lives Matter came out and described the dead dictator as a freedom fighter and that his death provoked “an overwhelming sense of loss, complicated by fear and anxiety.”
Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada, described Castro as “a larger than life leader who served his people for almost half a century.”
